Privacy Policy

In accordance with the European GDPR

1. Data Controller

Max Kroll is responsible for data processing on this website (see Legal Notice for contact details).

2. Hosting

This website is hosted by an external service provider. With every visit, the provider automatically collects technically necessary access data in server log files to deliver the website and ensure security (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). The hosting provider may use sub-processors outside the EU. Any transfer to third countries (e.g., USA) is based on an adequacy decision (e.g., Data Privacy Framework) or EU Standard Contractual Clauses. We have concluded a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) with the hosting provider pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR to legally ensure the protection of your data.

3. Contact Form

When you contact us, we process your details to handle the inquiry (Art. 6 (1) (b) or (f) GDPR). For technical processing, we use a specialized technical service provider. Data transfers to the USA are safeguarded by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (DPF) and Standard Contractual Clauses. Data will generally be deleted within 6 months after the inquiry is fully resolved, unless statutory retention periods apply.

4. Newsletter

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we process your data based on your consent via the double opt-in process (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR). For dispatch, we use an external mailing service provider. Data transfers to the USA are also safeguarded by the DPF. You can revoke your consent at any time (e.g., via the unsubscribe link). Your data will be deleted immediately upon unsubscribing.

5. Cookies & Necessary Data

We do not use tracking cookies. Insofar as technically necessary storage takes place on your device, this is done in accordance with the ePrivacy Directive and Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR to provide website functionality.

6. Web Fonts

For the uniform representation of fonts, this website uses web fonts provided by external service providers. When you access a page, your browser loads the required web fonts into your browser cache. In this process, your IP address is transmitted to the respective provider's server. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. No tracking takes place during this process.

7. No Profiling & Automated Decision-Making

We do not process your data for profiling or automated decision-making under Art. 22 GDPR.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to information (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), deletion (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), and data portability (Art. 20 GDPR).

Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR): You can object at any time to processing based on our legitimate interests.

Furthermore, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise your rights, please contact us via email.
