The Challenge: Locked in a Template

The founder of INNER-FIRE was running his business on a standard funnel platform. While functional, he hit a wall. He wanted to change the design, expand the blog, and adjust the layout, but the tool wouldn't let him. He was trapped in a rigid system that felt "complicated" and disconnected from his brand.

He booked the Custom Project package not just for a new look, but for freedom.

The Strategy: "Move, Then Improve"

Many designers make the mistake of trying to reinvent everything at once. This leads to chaos. Our approach was strategic and methodical, much like renovating a historic house: You stabilize the foundation before you paint the walls.

1. Phase 1: The Replica Migration

We didn't start with a blank canvas. I rebuilt his existing site structure nearly 1:1 inside Framer.

  • Why? To gain immediate control. By replicating the current state in Framer, we moved the project out of the restrictive environment without breaking the user experience or losing content.

  • The Result: A fully functional site that looks familiar but is now running on a high-performance engine, ready for change.

2. Phase 2: The Dark Mode Evolution

Once the site was safely on Framer, the real work began. We started the "renovation"—shifting the visual identity towards a "Raw & Authentic" Dark Mode aesthetic. Because the structure was already built, we could iterate section by section without fighting technical limitations.

Why this Approach Works

If you try to build a mansion on quicksand, it sinks. By migrating the "bones" of the website first, we ensured that the ambitious redesign has a stable base.

Currently, the project is in the transition phase. The foundation is laid, the CMS is configured, and the visual overhaul is ready to be rolled out as the brand evolves.

"Finally a website that matches the message – raw, authentic, no compromises. Exactly what I needed."
